How it works
You keep the claim. We help you pursue it.
RunwayRefund is a claims helper, not a law firm. You can stop and claim from the airline yourself at any time, for free.
Step 1 · Live
Check the flight
Enter the airline, flight number, date, route, how late you arrived or whether it was cancelled, and the reason the airline gave. You get an estimate under the Canadian APPR rules and, where they apply, EU261 or UK261. No account.
Step 2 · Live
Tell us what happened
The claim form asks for the booking, the passengers, your address, and a boarding pass or confirmation. We do not ask for a passport, date of birth, or bank details. Quebec residents, and people who live outside Canada, stop here.
Step 3 · Not built yet
You send the first claim
The plan is a letter you can paste into the airline's own form. You send it. The claim stays yours. This is not an assignment: the airline should pay you, not us. This version does not generate or send that letter.
Step 4 · Not built yet
If they pay, the fee is 20%
Taxes are included in the 20%. Nothing is owed if nothing is paid. A voucher, credit, or miles that you accept has no fee. Signing and card charging are not in this version.
Step 5 · Not built yet
If they don't, we follow up
A follow-up stays at 20%. The fee is 30% only when the money comes from a complaint to a regulator: the Canadian Transportation Agency, a UK ADR scheme, or an EU national enforcement body. A court case with a partner firm is their fee, paid by you, not an extra 30% on top.
Adults on the booking will each need to authorize their own claim once signing exists. A parent or guardian signs for a child. We are not lawyers, and an estimate on this site is not a decision from the airline or the CTA.

The airline, the Canadian Transportation Agency, and the UK CAA all let passengers claim directly. We charge a fee only if you ask us to help and money comes back.
