Terms
Draft terms. Not a contract yet.

DRAFT. A lawyer has not reviewed this page. It is not a contract and it is not legal advice.
What this version is
RunwayRefund lets you check a flight and save a claim intake. It does not send anything to an airline, file a regulatory complaint, collect a signature, or charge a card. Submitting the form means we have stored what you entered. It does not mean we have accepted the claim or started work that could create a fee.
Not a law firm
We are not lawyers and we do not give legal advice. Estimates apply published Canadian, EU, and UK passenger rules to information you provide. An airline or a regulator can reach a different result. You can claim from the airline yourself, for free, without using us.
Who can file
Canadian residents, except residents of Quebec. The exclusion follows where you live, not which airport you used. People who live outside Canada cannot file in this version. If the airline has already paid you, or you accepted a voucher, credit, or miles for the same disruption, we will not pursue it.
The fee we intend to charge later
20% of money you actually receive, tax included. 30% only when that money is paid because of a complaint to the Canadian Transportation Agency, a UK ADR scheme, or an EU national enforcement body. No fee if no money is recovered. No fee if you take a voucher, credit, or miles instead. A European court case handled by a partner firm would be billed by that firm to you, not as an extra 30% from us.
The claim would stay yours. We would not take it by assignment. The airline would pay you, and the fee would be owed on that payment. You could cancel before work that produces a payment. None of that can be charged in this version, because there is no signature step and no card step. Details and examples are on the pricing page.
Your information
You confirm that what you submit is true to the best of your knowledge. See the draft privacy page for what is stored. Do not upload passport numbers or bank details.
Liability
The checker can be wrong. Airline size, the cause of a delay, and foreign limitation periods are the usual reasons. Do not miss an airline or CTA deadline because you were waiting on this site. This draft does not limit liability in a way a court would enforce; that has to be written properly, in the province that will govern the contract, before we take paid work.
