Pricing
20% of money you receive. Nothing if you receive nothing.
The percentage includes tax. We do not add GST on top. There is no fee for running the checker.
| What happened | Fee | You keep |
|---|---|---|
| Airline pays you CA$700, no regulator complaint | CA$140 | CA$560 |
| Same CA$700, but only after a CTA, UK ADR, or EU complaint | CA$210 | CA$490 |
| Airline pays nothing | CA$0 | CA$0 |
| You accept a voucher, credit, or miles | CA$0 | You keep the voucher |
The CA$700 figure is the large-airline amount for a 6-to-9 hour delay under the Canadian rules. Your flight may be a different amount. Euro and pound figures in the checker are converted to Canadian dollars at a Bank of Canada daily rate, and that conversion is indicative until a payment exists.
When the fee is 30%
Only if the money is paid because of a complaint to a regulator: the Canadian Transportation Agency, a UK approved ADR scheme, or an EU national enforcement body. A follow-up letter to the airline, without that complaint, stays at 20%.
If a claim later goes to court in Europe through a partner firm, you pay that firm under their terms. We do not add 30% on top of the partner's fee. That path is not available in this version.
What we do not charge for
- A claim that recovers no money.
- A voucher, travel credit, or miles that you choose to take instead of money.
- Using the checker, including when the answer is that you are probably not owed anything.
The claim stays yours. We would act as your agent, not take the claim by assignment. The airline pays you, and the fee is due on that payment. You can claim yourself for free and never use us. See how it works. Card charging is not built yet, so this version cannot bill you.
You can claim this yourself, for free
The airline, the Canadian Transportation Agency, and the UK CAA all let passengers claim directly. We charge a fee only if you ask us to help and money comes back.
- Canadian compensation guide
- File with the CTA after the airline has had 30 days
- UK CAA: delays and cancellations
- UK approved ADR schemes
- Your Europe: air passenger rights
- EU national enforcement bodies
